Venue and Seating Information
The Hollywood Bowl is an outdoor amphitheater with a curved seating bowl, hillside setting, and iconic band shell. Its approximately 17,500 seats are arranged for stage sightlines and live acoustics rather than sports viewing. The venue includes promenades, picnic areas, concessions, and accessible seating in selected locations; its hillside layout can involve longer walks and uneven elevation.
For a premium experience, Garden Boxes and Terrace Boxes near the center offer strong stage visibility and a comfortable vantage point. Center Super Seats are a useful middle-ground choice for fans seeking a more centered view. Rear bench sections retain the Bowl's distinctive open-air atmosphere but sit farther from the stage, while extreme side locations may provide a less direct view of centered production.
Parking Information
Hollywood Bowl parking is limited and often uses stacked arrangements, which can prevent an early exit. Park & Ride, Bowl Shuttle, public transit, or rideshare can be more practical alternatives, particularly when post-show traffic is a concern. Parking availability and prices may vary by event, so check current details before traveling.
- Lot A / Blue Lot: 2301 N Highland Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90068. The supplied venue information lists stacked parking at $55 and valet at $90; stacked parking does not allow early exit.
- Ovation Hollywood Bowl Shuttle: 6801 Hollywood Blvd, Hollywood, CA 90028. A shuttle option near Hollywood/Highland; parking is listed at up to a $25 daily maximum, with shuttle pricing varying by event.
- Lot C / Purple Lot rideshare hub: 6655 Odin St, Los Angeles, CA 90068. Official rideshare drop-off and pick-up location; parking is not available.
Allow extra time for arrival: the venue guidance recommends arriving at least 90 minutes before a performance. Avoid parking in nearby residential neighborhoods, where restrictions may lead to costly tickets. On-site parking passes and shuttle services should be checked for event-specific availability and pricing.
